Artemis Consulting is excited to announce that our CEO, Amee Shah, is one of the finalists of this year’s Women in Technology (WIT) Small Business Leadership Award. Each year, WIT identifies and recognizes women in the D.C. metro area who exemplify a unique vision and leadership in the technology industry. The women selected not only excel in innovation and leadership, but also believe highly in the value of mentoring other women to be leaders in the technology arena. Finalist candidates were selected for advances in their own career, while at the same time, providing exceptional leadership and mentorship to others and making contributions in their own community. WIT will announce the winners of the awards at its Leadership Awards Banquet on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the Sheraton Tysons in Tysons Corner, Virginia.
In responding to being selected as a finalist, Ms. Shah states, “I am truly honored to be in the company of other successful women who share my passion for mentoring other women and helping them grow to be our future business leaders.” There were ten award categories, including the Small Business/ Entrepreneur category, for which Ms. Shah received the nomination. Nominees for this award category are women whose business entity has less than $50 million in annual revenues, and work in the technology industry or have had a significant role in a growing small business.
