Java jBPM Architect


Artemis Consulting is looking to add a jBPM Architect to our innovative and highly experienced team. The ideal candidate will design, plan, prototype, and manage major JBPM initiatives for a Federal client in Washington DC, focused on large data workflow automation. Using design patterns and frameworks for BPM workflows and rules engine, you will decide on upgrading the current jBPM infrastructure for the client or architecting a new BPM/BRMS products platform with complete automation for managing the digital asset lifecycle and governance of workflows. In this role, you will engage, participate, and drive business initiatives that leverage BPM/BRMS solutions. As an architect, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of reusable design patterns for BPM prototypes that adherence to industry standards and best practices.

The ideal candidate for this position meets the highly desired development experiences, enjoys technical hands-on work, and will join us for after-hours social events when possible.

This position is for a Federal client and requires frequent onsite presence. Candidates who are not in the Washington DC area should not apply.

Highly desired skills:

8 to 10 years of experience in an object orientated software development role (JAVA/J2EE)

5 + years of experience with full lifecycle implementation of the BPM projects including DEV/TEST/PROD environments and deployments

5+ years of experience in a design/ architecture/ technical consulting capacity

Experience with day-to-day system development and maintenance activities for BPM projects Act as the Subject Matter Expert of BPM Shared Services in liaison with other technology groups

Experience with BPM, process design, process modeling and workflow Previous working experience with IBM Websphere, Oracle, JBPM, or other BPM products

Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 8+ years of hands on experience on SOA /BPM/BRMS technologies

At least 3 year of hands-on experience in development, administration or implementation of the BPM workflows

Strong development background in Java, SOA , API and Cloud technologies , Web Services , and BPM Understanding of general security concepts (authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signatures, etc)

Experience with Agile development methodology and knowledge of general networking concepts Self-motivated, good written and verbal communication

Other Key (desired) Skills: Java 1.7, J2EE, JBPM, Spring, Hibernate, Web Services (SOAP or REST), XML, JSON, SSL, Oracle, SQL, UNIX, WebSphere, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, JSP, workflow automation experience, AMQP experience, and RESTful web APIs
